She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for Best Female Supporting actor. In 2008 and 2010, she reprised the role in the films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. Her most prominent characters include Police Academy Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the'80s. Kim Cattrall's character on the HBO TV comedy Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. The part of Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was a pivotal moment in her professional career.
